ACM (Aerospace Combat Manoeuvring) Training Nights:
Dogfighting, or the tactical art of moving, turning and/or situating one’s fighter spacecraft in order to attain a position from which an attack can be made on another aircraft. Aerospace combat manoeuvres rely on offensive and defensive basic fighter manoeuvring (BFM) to gain an advantage over an aerospace opponent. Once a month we take old and new pilots out to learn the tricks and tips of surviving combat in the black.
Counter Pirate Operations:
Our warships have been called upon to patrol the dangerous areas of space, to keep pilots safe. Wings of combat-ready ships patrol resources sites looking for pirate activity assisting miners and ensuring the space lanes are safe for traders.

Anti-Xeno Combat Operations:
With the rising threat of the Thargoid alien race, we have begun to train pilots in anti-xeno combat techniques.

Mining and Materials Operations:
There are tons of mineral wealth just floating out there waiting for some daring Prospector with a ship and a drill to go get it.
5 February – New Years day
The holiday is celebrated with food, families, and presents for good luck. Lion and dragon dances, drums, fireworks, firecrackers, and other types of entertainment fill the streets on this day.
5 March – Carnival:
The fleet gets to gets together for a celebration, including a fleet parade, and the annual SRV race. There is often excessive indulge in alcohol and food.
18 March – Colonial Day/Commonwealth Day
Colonial Day is an annual holiday that celebrates the official signing of the Articles of Colonization which created the United Systems Commonwealth.
5 April – First Contact Day
Commemorating the first contact between humans and Thargoids in 3125. The fleet conducts anti-xeno operations going to the Pleiades nebula to hunt Xenos.
25 April – ANZAC day
Anzac Day the national day of remembrance for Australia and New Zealand to commemorate all Australians and New Zealanders “who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations” and “the contribution and suffering of all those who have served”.
A Fleet review is held in HIP 77807 and remembrance ceremony is held 10:00 AEST
19 September – Pirate Hunting day
Extended anti-pirate operations are held in all systems, with annual the biggest bounty competition being held.
20 September – Unification (Alliance) Day
Unification Day is the day when the Alliance was formed from a number of independent systems with the goal of gaining strength in numbers and defending, where necessary, against the other major factions. It was celebrated yearly by pro-Alliance citizens, however, some former Independents who were against the unification do their best to rain on this parade, in his case by essentially picking a fight in a different pro-Alliance system each year.
15 October – Federation Day
Although no celebrated by the Fleet we take this time to again essentially go and pick a fight in a different pro-federation system each year.
